8. A Moving - Wow, Deers are Taking a Walk!

マックスがプリスクールに入学するので環境の良いところに引越しする事にした。
We have decided to move to the place where it is more suitable for Max entering the preschool and in the better environment.
シアトルのダウンタウンに近い古いコンドミニアムを売りに出したところ
最初の日の初めての客に売れてしまった（やった～）
We put the old condominium on sale. It was an old condo close the the downtown Seattle. It was sold on the very first day to the first visitor. (We made it!)
その日は朝からケーキを焼き幸せの香りを家中に充満させて待ち構えていた。
そのせいかな？・・・
My daughter baked cakes early in the morning, making the house filled with a happy flavor and well prepared. That is why? . . .
３LDでリビングルームも広く綺麗にメンテナンスをしていたから
即、気に入ったみたいだった。
The condo has a large living room with 3 bedrooms. The place was kept very clean and the proper maintenace has been done. It seemed they liked it at once.
「もうちょっと高くすればよかったかしら….」なんて
ちょっと思ったりもしたが、お金持ちの人が
買うわけではないから 安く売ってあげられて良かった・・・
We even thought "May be we could sell a little higher..."
but this is not a deal with rich people so we were happy we sold with a good price after all. . .
新しい家は ダウンタウンから東で３０分程行った新興住宅地にある。
Our new house is in the new residential area, 30-minute drive from the downtown to the east.
遠くには、カスケイド山脈が、さらに雲間からシアトルの富士山と言われるレーニア山が見える素晴らしい環境だ。
It is really wonderful surroundings, overlooking the Cascade Mountains far away, and Rainier Mountain, Mt Fuji of Seattle, showing through clouds.
同じ住宅地に新しい小学校もある。
芝生の広い公園があちらこちらにある。
There is a new primary school in the same residential area as our new home.
Many large parks with lawns.
今度は庭もあり安心して子供を遊ばせることが出来る。
We have a garden this time and it is a safe place for our children to play.
「わあー鹿の兄弟だ！」
"Wow, look, deers, they must be brothers!"
近所を散歩していると鹿の兄弟がのんびりとお庭の葉っぱを食べている。
When we are taking a walk in the neighborhood, you can see deers leisurely eating grasses in someone's garden.
子供達も嬉しそうに目を輝かせて眺めている。
Our children are happily looking at it, with bright eyes.
夜も更けて、窓の外からコツコツと足音が聞こえる。
Late at night, you hear footsteps outside the window.
「何でしょう？」
「わぁ 鹿だぁ」
何と立派な角を持った鹿が悠々と歩いている。
"what's that?"
"Wow, it's a deer"
You cannot believe this. A deer with huge horns is walking slowly.
