7. Praying to God

「神様、仏様お願いします！」
"Dear Lord, please listen to us!"
自閉症と診断されて以来、神社仏閣どこに行っても神仏にお願いしている。

Ever since the autism diagnosis, I pray to God, shinto God, Buddha - whatever God it is.

９０歳過ぎている母も毎日仏壇で拝んでいる。

My mother, who is over 90 now, is praying everyday in front of a family Buddhist altar.

友人が四国八十八箇所お遍路巡りに行くと聞くと二人の祈願をお願いする。
迷惑な話である・・・でもこちらは必死・・兎に角治療法はないのだから
神頼みきりないのだ。
When I hear a friend of mine go on Shikoku 88-place pilgrimage, I ask her to pray for Max & Mason for me.  Such a nuisance for her . . . but I am desperate . . . there is no way to cure and so we ask God, that's the only way.  
「神様、マックス、メイソンに言葉を下さい！」

"Dear God, please give Max and Mason a gift of speech."
