4. He Loves to Watch Video on Universe

マックスは幼児用の宇宙のビデオが好きでよく観ていた。
ある時、マミーが「あれなあに？」と画面の映像を指差すと小さい声で「マーキュリィ」答えた。
次の画面でまた「これは？」と聞くと「ヴィーナス」と答えるではないか！！
とうとう｢水金地火木｣の惑星すべての名前を正確に答えた。
「マックス、ちゃんとわかっているんじゃない！！」
Max loved to watch children's video on the universe.
Mommy one day asked him "what's that?" pointing the image on the screen.
He answered "Mercury". At the next scene, asked him again, "what is this?"
He asnwered "Venus"!!
He finally answered all - Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars & Jupitor correctly!!
"Max, you know it!!"

思わずマミーはマックスを抱きしめる。
Mommy hugged Max, a huge hug.

ダディにも早速会社に電話で報告すると同僚たちも拍手で一緒に喜んでくれて思わずダディはうれし泣きをしたらしい。
自らの発話のないマックスは、なんにもわかっていないのではないかと、少し不安になり始めていた頃だったので家中で大喜びだった。
She immediately called her husband at office. All of his colleagues were so happy for him, clapping hands to praise, and he had to cry for joy.  Mommy and daddy were beginning to worry that Max did not understand anything, so this was a great news.
