48 Attachment is Disappearing . . . - 2013
2013年 こだわりが消えていく. . .
７〜８歳を過ぎてくると今まで怖くてできなかったことなどが、いつのまにか出来るようになってくる。
When the boys were around 7-8, they were little by little overcoming to do things which were too scary to do before.
たとえば
For example:
①ヘアーサロンに行き泣かないで髪をカットしてもらえるようになる。
アスペルガーの人によると「髪は毛穴から出ているんだから髪を切ったら痛いにきまっ
ているでしょ！」ということだ。
マックスもメイソンも泣いて嫌がりヘアーカットがとても大変だった。
しかし ある日突然に二人ともすまして何事もないように鏡の前に
坐ったのにはビックリ！
1) They can get haircut done without crying at hair salon.
According to Asperger persons, "hairs are coming out of pores, cutting hairs surely hurts!"
Both Max and Mason hated the haircut and they cried. It had been such a difficult job to do for Mommy and Daddy.
But one day, they sat in front of a mirror as if it was nothing special. We were astonished!
②小さい頃は物のこだわりが強く靴でもコップでもなんでも同じものでないと大変だ。
マミーは靴でもコップでも同じものをいくつも買っておく。
靴は同じデザインのものでサイズの大きい靴を2足づつ買っておく。
このこだわりもいつの間にか解消される。
When Max & Mason were a little boy, they were particular about things.
They care about shoes, cups, whatever, it has to be the same one.
Mommy bought many shoes, cups and such, of the same design at a time.
For shoes, she bought 2 pairs and another 2 pairs of the larger size all together.
This special attachment (cognitive rigidity) to objects was disappearing day by day.
③今まで入れなかった博物館や子供のゲームセンターみたいなところが
普通に入れるようになる。
キャンプで連れて行ってもらいマックスだけが中に入れずにマミーに迎えにきてほしい
と電話がかかってくることもしばしばだった。
3) It was getting easier to enter the places they could not before, such as museums, game centers for kids.
At summer camp, Max often could not enter the building with other kids.
Mommy frequently received a call and was asked to fetch him.
④劇場や映画館も同じだ。ただし直前までなかなか席に付けず
暗くなってショーが始まる直前に観念して席に着く。
昨年位から最初から着席できるようになる。
4) The same thing for theaters and movie theaters. He could ot sit until just before the movie started. After the room gets dark, he gives up and sits.
Since about one year ago, he can sit while the room is still lighted.
このように１０歳過ぎると大分いろいろなことが、出来るようになり
少しづつ外出も楽になってくる。
When they turned to 10, they became to be able to do many things.
Taking them out is getting easier and easier.
