40 Mommy has No Holidays 24 hours a day, 365 days a year - 2010

2010年　マミーは24時間365日休みなし

子供達が自閉症と診断されて以来、必死になって情報を集めるのはマミーの仕事。
時には子供達を１時間以上掛けてセラピーに連れて行く。
今までいろいろなセラピーを受けてきたが、すべてマミーが見つけてきたセラピーだ。

Since two boys were diagnosed autistic, it has been Mommy's job to desperately search for information.  She sometimes takes boys to therapy driving over one hour.
Boys have been receiving various therapies.  Mommy found out all of them.

ダディは子供達とは一生懸命遊んでくれるが、自閉症に関しては積極的に治療法を探す
ことは一切ない（治療法はないかもしれないが…）

Daddy plays with boys as hard as he can.  But as to autism, he does not actively look for treatments (may be there is no treatment for cure. . .).

「ヘルプするから何でも言って」とダディはマミーにいつも言う。
マミーは心の中で叫ぶ。「”ヘルプ”じゃないでしょ！…一緒に探して！…」と。
"I will help you, tell me so anything"  Daddy always says to Mommy.
Mommy cries in mind. "It is not a help! . . . join me to search for it! . . ."

まぁいいか…遊んでくれるから…マミーは自分に言い聞かせダディに感謝する。
Well may be it's OK . . .he plays with boys so well . . . Mommy says so to herself and appreciates Daddy.

ダディは月の半分は出張に出掛けて家にいない。
Daddy is out of towm on business trip about half of a month.
マミーの物理的、精神的負担は大変なものだと思う。
I think Mommy's physical & mental burden is so huge.
この１０年以上自分の楽しみを一切持つ事もなくただひたすら子供達の為に
頑張っているマミーを見ていると時々大丈夫かしらと不安になる。

For the last 10 years, she has never spent time for fun for herself.  Watching her spending literally all her life just for children sometimes makes me worry if she is OK.

自分自身の楽しみを持つことを勧めるがまだそういう気持ちになれないらしい。
I suggest to do something to enjoy for herself but it looks like she is not ready yet for it. 
マミーのリラックス法は子供達が学校へ行っている間に
ネイルサロンと中国式マッサージに行くことだ。

だからマミーの手足はいつもきれいだ。
それにおしゃれも忘れない。
Nail salon and Chinese-style massage are her favorite pass time while boys are at school.

So her hands and foot always look very nice. 
She also does not ignore fashionable clothing.
”障害を持っている子供だから尚更、可愛い格好をさせないと”と言って
子供達の洋服もアウトレットにせっせと通い探してくる。
"Because my boys have handicaps, they need to wear pretty, nice clothes all the more."

She frequently goes to the outlet to look for clothes good for boys.
あの厳しいローリー先生から
「汚しても良い格好をさせてきて」とメールがきたらしい。
もちろん「汚しても全く構いませんので…」と返信した。
The severe teacher, Ms Laurie sent her an e-mail.
"Please have them wear clothes ok to get dirty."

Of course she replied "we do not mind at all if their clothes get dirty . . .".
ダディは思いっきり子供達と遊んだ後は子供達から開放されて？出張に出掛ける。
After playing with boys to his best, Daddy leaves house on business trip, free (?) from boys. 
マミーは２４時間３６５日子供達から開放されることはない。
Mommy, the other hand, is never free from boys, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
マミーにもたまに出張があるといいね？！
I wish for her that Mommy had a business trip sometimes ?!
ダディの出張は１ヶ月に平均すると２週間位なので出張前はダディも
子供たちのためにお子様サービスに必死だ・・
Daddy's business trips are for about 2 weeks a month on average

so Daddy really tries to play with boys while he can be with them. 
「お疲れ様！　ダディ」
"Thank you for your hard work, Daddy!"
